In your 20s or 30s? Looking to meet other young people in Philadelphia? Spend shabbes at The Y for a great evening of food, schmoozing and music. Whether you're single or in a relationship, gay, straight, observant or not, you'll be sure to meet an interesting cross-section of people. This event sold-out last year and seating is limited so buy in advance.
This program will feature a special appearance by Israeli musician Oran Etkin who will be in Philadelphia for the upcoming Israeli Jazz Phest (Nov. 11 - 19.) Etkin will give an acoustic performance and talk to us about music in Israel today and the work he does around the globe educating children about music.
Dinner is strictly kosher meat meal.
Vegetarian options available. Event is BYOB.
This event is part of the "Israel Up-Close" series for Jewish Young Professionals and Graduate Students which has programming on Israeli culture "Popping-Up" at events throughout the year.
