MENDING = ART

This international show of art in fi ber and other media will reveal how the ancient task of mending informs contemporary work, from photographs of spider webs mended with string, to performance artist Michael Swaine's free, outdoor mending services offered on an old treadle sewing machine. Organized in conjunction with Fiber Philadelphia by guest curator Diane Savona.
